SOUTHERN MISS OFFERING COURSES IN PRETERM NEONATE CARE,
INTERVENTION STRATEGIES FOR MEDICALLY FRAGILE INFANTS

HATTIESBURG - The University of Southern Mississippi Center for International and Continuing Education will be offering two courses in December focusing on medical care for infants.

"Improving Medical and Developmental Outcomes in Pre-term Neonates Using Developmental Care Techniques" will be offered Dec. 9, followed by "Intervention Strategies for the Medically Fragile Infant in the Community" Dec. 10. Both courses will focus on techniques needed to introduce feeding using a developmental process.

Nurses and other health care providers and professionals are encouraged to attend. For information on registration and Continuing Education Unit credits (CEUs), contact the Southern Miss Center for International and Continuing Education at (601) 266-4186.
