HATTIESBURG -The University of Southern Mississippi's ACCESS Recreation and the city of Hattiesburg's Department of Recreation are teaming up to offer outdoor recreation opportunities for area youth. "Outdoor Encounter" will offer junior high and high school students in the Hattiesburg area educational opportunities such as fire-building techniques, map and compass reading and back-country first aid, among others.
