Institute for Disability Studies to Hold Fair Housing Workshop on the Gulf Coast

Gulfport—The Institute for Disability Studies (IDS) at the University of Southern Mississippi will hold a workshop on fair housing Monday, April 24 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at the Orange Grove Community Center at 13472 Highway 49 in Gulfport.

Information will be provided on fair housing issues, questions or complaints. Down payment and assistance programs will be reviewed. Refreshments will be provided. The workshop is presented by IDS’ HousingSmart project, funded in part by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), which works to ensure equal opportunities in housing and to increase home ownership for Mississippians with disabilities.
