HATTIESBURG – A gas leak at the construction site of the University of Southern Mississippi’s Trent Lott National Center for Excellence in Economic Development and Entrepreneurship, located off of U.S. Highway 49, has forced the evacuation of three residence halls.

The residence halls include Wilbur (Panhellenic), Bolton and Jones.

The Southern Miss Department of Marketing and Public Relations will provide an update on this situation at 9 a.m.
