MICHIGAN ROOFERS –
A crew of roofers from Commerce Township, Mich., prepare to
place tarps on the roof of the old Hattiesburg, Miss., High
School, severely damaged by hurricane Katrina, Wednesday. The
school is being restored to house the University of Southern
Mississippi’s Department of Art, Design, and Museum of Art. A
team of 42 workers from the same area of Michigan will spend
more than week at the old school later this month, helping to
get the building ready for the restoration project. (Southern
Miss Public Relations photo by Steve Rouse)
