The Mississippi Association for Psychology in the Schools will hold its annual conference in Jackson Feb. 1-3 at the Cabot Lodge Millsaps. There will be a call for papers, and the conference will also include featured speakers Dr. Phil Lazarus, Dr. Merilee McCurdy and Dr. Mark Shinn. Presenters will cover a variety of topics, including crisis response efforts in the aftermath of recent hurricanes; response to intervention (RTI) and academic intervention; and curriculum-based movement (CBM) and development of local norms.
