Downtown Farmer's Market Offering Fresh Produce Through Growing Season Beginning June 24

farmer’s market offering fresh, organically grown local produce
will return to downtown Hattiesburg’s Town Square Park June 24.
The park is located at the intersection of Main, Buschman and Bay
streets in downtown Hattiesburg.
The market, which will be open from 8 a.m. to noon each Saturday
throughout the growing season, will include such items as corn,
snap beans, tomatoes, greens, bell peppers, and watermelons, among
other items, grown from the gardens of the Indian Springs Farmer’s
Association and the University of Southern Mississippi School of
Social Work’s Family Network Partnership gardens.
The market is supported by the Southern Miss School of Social Work’s
Family Network Partnership; the Southern Miss Department of Nutrition;
the Southern Miss Department of Economics, Finance and International
Business; the city of Hattiesburg; and the Indian Springs Farmer’s
Association.
