Miss baseball fans should make plans to join the Alumni Association
at the 2006 NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional prior to the Golden Eagles’
game on Saturday, June 3, for a Southern Miss Baseball Eagle Landing.
The tailgating
event, which will begin two hours prior to the first pitch of Southern
Miss’ game on Saturday, will feature hamburgers, soft drinks and
water. The event is free and is sponsored by Mugshots Grill and
Bar.
Southern Miss
opens play in the regional on Friday versus Troy State. Should the
Golden Eagles win, they will play at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, versus
the winner of a Friday evening contest between the University of
Alabama and Jacksonville State. Should the Golden Eagles lose Friday,
they will play the Alabama/Jacksonville State loser at 2:30 p.m.
The Southern
