Southern Miss Department of Economic and Workforce Development Webinar Series Continues With June 15 Program

Hattiesburg—The University of Southern Mississippi’s Department of Economic and Workforce Development, in conjunction with the university’s Trent Lott Center for Economic Development and Entrepreneurship and the Jack and Patti Phillips Workplace Learning and Performance Institute (WLPI), will host the next installment of its Web-based series of seminars Thursday, June 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST.

In a continuing effort to focus on best practices for Economic and Workforce Development, the June 15 program features Dr. Ken Malone presenting “Technology Transfer Keys to Economic Development.” The program will give participants the opportunity to learn strategies in applying technology to facilitate communities for rapid growth and development.

There is no charge for the first 250 participants that enroll. There are a limited number of seats available for this Webinar, and interested individuals are encouraged to register early.
