compassion, sacrifice and dedication to Southern Miss,” said Dr.
Shelby F. Thames, Southern Miss president. “We are moving forward
together to fulfill the mission of the University of Southern Mississippi.”
In a ceremony
Friday at the Southern Miss Gulf Coast Student Service Center, Thames,
along with Dr. Jay Grimes, provost, and Dr. Pat Joachim, associate

of Katrina.’”
