Building Your Professional Bank Account
HATTIESBURG – The University of Southern Mississippi’s College
of Health wants to teach the Pine Belt community the ABC’s of
building a career that breeds prosperity.
“Building Your Professional Bank Account” is the focus of the
College of Health’s December Scholar Series set for December
6 at Southern Miss’ University Union Hall of Honors from 9:30
to 10:45 a.m. on the Hattiesburg campus.
Linda Hall, Ph.D., Forrest General Hospital’s former director
of Health Management Connection, will be the featured speaker.
Hall’s presentation will focus on strategies that students and
entry-level professionals can implement now and in the future
as they begin their professional careers.
Southern Miss Human Performance and Recreation associate professor
and coordinator of the College of Health Scholars Series Susan
Hubble Burchell calls Hall a visionary in the field of health
and wellness who works and interacts with passion, energy and
intensity.
Hall has a plethora of experience in the medical field as she
has published articles and books on developing and managing
programs for disease management, facilities, and health and
wellness. She has spent 24 years as a manager and executive
director of facilities for rehabilitation and lifestyle invention
and 21years as a professor or adjunct professor teaching exercise
physiologists, nurses, physical therapists and other health
professionals about developing, managing and integrating disease
management.
