HATTIESBURG-The Second Annual Eaglepalooza will
take place on Friday, Nov. 18, from 6 p.m. to midnight in downtown
Hattiesburg.
Eaglepaloozza will include country artist Pat Green at 7:30
pm, alternative rock group Dashboard Confessionals, and a DJ.
Vendors will also be selling drinks and food.
The event is free to students and the public. A trolley will
provide free transportation from the freshman quad to downtown
Hattiesburg throughout the night.
Mike Mitchell, assistant dean of students, worked hand and
hand with SGA to put this event together. “We are excited about
the opportunity to introduce Southern Miss students to downtown
Hattiesburg while providing a great concert at the same time,”
Mitchell said.
The event is hosted by Student Government Association (SGA)
and sponsored by Bancorpsouth and Mugshots. For more information,
