The Office of Professional Development and Educational Outreach (OPDEO) is dedicated to extending the university to the community by offering professional development and other educational opportunities. We provide innovative programs and services to the nontraditional student, working professional, business and industry, and the university’s academic and administrative units.
We partner with university subject matter experts and external constituencies to create and support learning venues that broaden individual competencies and meet the workforce training needs of the community and beyond.
Our mission is to deliver high-quality performance-based professional development and training programs that meet the needs of individuals, businesses, industry and government in a global community.
