Stacey Blalock Henry, Ph.D.

Dr. Stacey Blalock Henry is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Kansas). She began her educational career at Tougaloo College in Jackson, MS., where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. She continued her education at The University of Southern Miss in Hattiesburg, MS., where she received a Master of Arts in marriage and family therapy and Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS where she received her doctorate in marriage and family therapy.

Dr. Henry began conducting therapy at the University of Southern Miss as a student therapist in 2002.  She has consulted for Veteran’s Affairs at Fort Riley Military Base in Fort Riley, KS to facilitate reintegration classes upon soldiers’ return from deployment and Mississippi Veteran’s Affairs (Biloxi, Gulfport and Jackson) for the Vocational Rehabilitation office for chapter 31 and chapter 36 benefits.

She has 11 years of clinical experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist with six of those years being spent at Pine Grove Behavioral Health. Dr. Henry’s specialties include couples therapy, treating addictions (such as drug and alcohol dependence, sex addiction and eating disorders), military couples and issues related to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and facilitating educational group workshops and group therapy.

Dr. Henry currently teaches the “Marriage and Family” course at Pearl River Community College and “The Family” course at Southern Miss. In addition, she is the executive director of The Hills, which offers behavioral healthcare therapy and educational consultation. Helping others learn to cope with “real life” situations is a challenge, but a challenge that she enjoys!
