DuBard Association Method® Basic Course
The DuBard Association Method® is a multisensory teaching strategy.
THE COURSE WILL COVER
- The principles of the DuBard Association Method® as appropriate for kindergarten through second grade students and individuals with communication disorders, dyslexia and learning disabilities,
- The Northampton phonetic symbol system,
- Oral and written language skill development, and
- The DuBard Association Method® as part of the school curriculum.
THE COURSE IS DESIGNED FOR
- Kindergarten through second grade teachers (general and special education),
- Reading specialists and
- Speech-language pathologists.
CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS
This course is offered for 4.0 Southern Miss educator and 4.0 ASHA
speech-language pathologist/audiologist (intermediate level, professional area) CEUs.
Approval from DuBard School required.

Check-in 7:30 a.m. on first day
September 24-26 and October 15-17, 2013 (Two-Part)
8 a.m.–3:45 p.m.
Check-in at 7:30 a.m. on the first day
Cost(s):
Non-credit - $875 plus required textbook
Academic credit - $500 plus tuition
CEUs - $80 educators, no charge for ASHA
Textbook - $100
Lunch is included.
The required textbook, Oral and Written Communication Disorders, must be purchased with registration; otherwise, participants are responsible for purchasing the textbook prior to the start of the course.
