Van Craft, B.S.

Van E. Craft is owner of Wage Hour Assessments and Solutions in Hattiesburg, Miss. He spent over 35 years as an Investigator and Manager with the U. S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division, serving in Jackson, Tupelo and Hattiesburg. He received numerous awards during his career with Wage Hour, including the Federal Distinguished Career Service Award and several Exceptional Achievement Awards. Craft was the district criminal coordinator overseeing criminal Wage Hour investigations. He also served as instructor and technical expert at Wage Hour Investigator and Technician Training Classes. After his retirement in 2010, he served on staff with a labor law firm in Memphis, Tenn., before beginning his own consulting business. As a Wage Hour Investigator, he conducted investigations of all types of businesses, including manufacturing companies, retail stores, hospitals, farms, and state and local government agencies. As a consultant, he does Wage Hour assessments of all types of businesses and assists both defense and plaintiff attorneys. Craft holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southern Miss.
