A Message from the President

Greetings,

As we approach the unhappy task of reducing and revising the university budget, I have asked our Provost, Bob Lyman, to establish a committee to make recommendations to the Executive Cabinet. The committee includes representation from across campus and is currently at work. Our full intention is to be open, transparent and inclusive; but, at the end of the day, some tough decisions are going to have to be made. We will look to you, our campus colleagues, to provide feedback as we move along.

In the spirit of transparency, this website has been established to keep you informed of our progress. Thank you for your attention and your cooperation during these difficult times.
