Research Interests
I am interested in understanding the processes involved in word learning in monolinguals and bilinguals, particularly with respect to order of acquisition effects and semantic organization of words. Part of this research looks into possible sites for language interaction such as the interface between morphology and syntax, and syntax and semantics. In a different line of research, I am also interested in written and spoken word production and visual word recognition.
