Shelby Wittorf

Goals as a Personal Trainer:

  • My goal as a personal trainer is to help people become more confident by becoming more physically fit and becoming educated in the world of exercising. 

Experience:

  • I became certified in July of 2012 and have been training myself, my family, and friends for a few years.

Hobbies and Interest:

  • Since I have danced for most of my life, I enjoy taking many dance based exercise classes such as Zumba.  I also enjoy spending the summer on the river tubing, kneeboarding, and wakeboarding.  My goal is to eventually become a Physical Therapist so I also enjoy learning more about new rehabilitation techniques.

Why hire you to be their personal trainer?

  • I try to the best of my ability to come up with the best possible work out plan for my client so that they can get the results that they want.  I also like to make my work outs as interesting as possible so that my client never gets bored with their work out and always wants to come back for more.  I also like to motivate my clients to reach their goals.

Stephanie Stokes

Goals as Personal Trainer:

  • Training is something I am deeply passionate about. I expect my client to be as intense in our training and motivated as I am when I myself am working towards my fitness goals. My highest priority as a trainer would be to see the client pushing his or her self towards their personalized goal while I lead the way with clear and safe instruction. At the end of the day I want the client to be energized and encouraged about the progressions being made.

Experience:

  • Received AFAA certification in 2010 and have worked as a personal fitness instructor (Payne Center and YMCA)and teaching classes (Payne Center) since 2010.

Hobbies/Interest:

  • Swimming, biking, running, hiking, teaching, competing in events, and playing volleyball are amongst my favorite hobbies.

Why hire you to be their personal trainer?

  • As a fellow competitor, I know how it feels to work towards a personal fitness goal. It is sometimes discouraging, but as trainer I am an excellent extrinsic motivational source to help overcome those moments. I will go the extra mile to make sure the client's goals and expectations are being met. Learning and keeping up with new health related research and workouts is a passion of mine so I am constantly up-to-date with exercise prescriptions and regiments. As a trainer I will have the spirit and knowledge base to give clients a "sound mine and body."

Gregory Hayes

Goals as Personal Trainer:

  • My goals are to basically have everyone I know healthy. I love fitness and weight training. It’s a real passion for me. I wish to start my own business with companies around the Hattiesburg Area.

Experience:

  • I have been weight training since I was 18, as well as played football, basketball, softball and earned a yellow belt in Karate. I am very knowledgeable about the human body.

Tayler Jordan

Goals as Personal Trainer:

  • You only get one body; therefore, I am passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle as well as motivating others to do so. I fully believe in taking care of what God has been gracious enough to give me, and I strive to help influence others to do the same. My goal as a personal trainer is to strategically guide and educate my clients toward enthusiastically reaching his or her health and fitness goals.

Experience:

  • As a group fitness instructor, I have taught Insane Train and Eagle Strong. Most recently, I worked as a Certified Personal Trainer for the YMCA Bounds Family Branch in Daphne, AL.

Hobbies/ Interests:

  • Lifting heavy stuff and eating peanut butter

  • Committing to and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is one of the biggest challenges we face. Although I cannot magically make all of the unhealthy influences in the world disappear, I can, in fact, work to my full potential to make the process as easy as possible for my clients. Through patience, guidance, and determination, I will be fully engaged in working alongside my client to reach one goal after another.

 Goal:

  • My goal as a trainer is to see people become more healthy and happy right where they are in their lives. Also I’d like to help people not only achieve their fitness goals but go far beyond their goals and expectations. I ultimately want to see my client be happy and take pride in what they have achieved.

 Experience:

  • I have been around a gym setting since high school. I did not take my health into serious account until my sophomore year of college. Between the time I was in my senior year of high school and my junior year of college, I had lost around 100 pounds. Ever since I attained my fitness goal, I could not stop working out because I have had so much fun being in the gym and learning new things.

Hobbies:

  • Working out, playing video games, being outdoors

  • Because I will buy into your fitness goals and try my hardest to help you not only achieve your goals but exceed them. I will help you become happy about the way you look by transforming your body. I will teach you that working out is fun and something that can be enjoyed, not hated.

  • I participated in studio dance for fifteen years and competitively danced for eight years. I also have competed in swim team races.

  • I enjoy hiking, camping, running and cooking.

  • My goals as a personal trainer are to make workouts fun and challenging. I want my clients to leave knowing they worked hard while still feeling energized and empowered. My goal is to inspire others to adopt an overall healthy lifestyle and enjoy exercising.

  • I LOVE to cook and bake. I enjoy spending time outside riding bikes or exploring!

 Experience:

  • I grew up playing soccer and with that, lifting weights. I have worked at the Payne Center for over a year learning from and observing other trainers. I have years of experience exercising and training my own body along with friends and family.

I am patient and understanding, but will also encourage and motivate you to work hard and get the most out of our time together.

  • My goals as a personal trainer are to make my clients feel confident in their self and to help them reach their goals in the gym.

Experience: 

  • I got certified by AFAA as a personal trainer in March 2014. I grew up playing sports and enjoyed working out every day.

Hobbies/Interest: 

  • I love sports, if it involves a ball I’m down to play it. I also like music, hanging out with my friends and watching Netflix.

Why should you hire me: 

  • I am fairly new to being a personal trainer, but I believe I can help my client reach and surpass their goals. I’m very relaxed and consider myself to be a fun person to be around which is how I like my workouts to be.
