  • I became certified in July of 2012 and have been training myself, my family, and friends for a few years.

Hobbies and Interest:

  • Since I have danced for most of my life, I enjoy taking many dance based exercise classes such as Zumba.  I also enjoy spending the summer on the river tubing, kneeboarding, and wakeboarding.  My goal is to eventually become a Physical Therapist so I also enjoy learning more about new rehabilitation techniques.

I will go the extra mile to make sure the client's goals and expectations are being met. Learning and keeping up with new health related research and workouts is a passion of mine so I am constantly up-to-date with exercise prescriptions and regiments. As a trainer I will have the spirit and knowledge base to give clients a "sound mine and body."

Goals as Personal Trainer:

  • My goals as a personal trainer consist of helping my clients to attain their goals and to become more physically and mentally healthy individuals. Major:

  • Exercise Science, Senior

Certifications:

  • AFFA Certified Personal Trainer

Specializations:

  • High intensity cardio and weight training
  • Fat loss
  • Muscle building
  • Lower body training

Goals as Personal Trainer:

  • My goals as a personal trainer are to change people’s mind set about working out. I do not want my clients to feel that it is a chore or something they dread, but instead, I want them to grow to love working out and to learn about living healthier lives. I treat my client’s goals as important as if they were my own. I will continue to stay on top of the most recent studies within Exercise Science and apply these techniques to the regimens of my clients to push them to becoming the best version of themselves.

Experience:

  • I received my certification with AFAA during the summer of 2013 but I am no stranger to exercising and finding out what it takes to live a healthier life. During my teenage years I was once obese until I decided to lose over 100 pounds within a course of 4 years before coming to USM. Upon my arrival, I stepped into the gym for the first time where I found my passion for health where it would blossom to a point where I would want to help others achieve the same goal.

Hobbies/Interests:

  • Working out, playing video games, listening to music, hanging with friends, drawing, and traveling

Why hire you to be their personal trainer?

  • Over 8 years I have been on this journey of fitness and have seen both sides of what it is like to be overweight and then thin. I know of the challenges that may come with those who so desperately want to change but have no idea how to. With experimenting on myself first, I am now ready to help others achieve the same goal. Whether it is to lose body fat or to gain muscles I am willing to dedicate my time in helping your achieve that. I will not only help you live a healthier life or show you how to perform certain exercises, but I will also motivate and keep you focused on the goal so that you may also reach what you may thought was once impossible.
