Personal Training Sessions

Before sessions can be purchased, new and returning clients need to visit the FAC office during open FAC office hours to complete an initial consultation. After the initial consultation, the new or returning client will be contacted by their assigned personal trainer no more than 24 hours after the completion of the paperwork. From there, the client and their assigned trainer will discuss session packages and fitness assessments.

If you are a new client and you are not available during any of the open FAC office hours, then please see the tab "request a trainer" to submit a request or call the Graduate Assistant for Fitness and Wellness to schedule an initial consultation outside of open FAC office hours. The Graduate Assistant for Fitness and Wellness' contact information is listed on the right side of the page.

Please note: no sessions can be purchased without the completion of the initial consultation paperwork and the assignment of a personal trainer.

What is a Fitness Assessment?

A fitness assessment is a series of tests that shows an individual their baselines for their anthropometric data, functional movement, muscular endurance, cardiovascular system and flexibility. A personal trainer supervises these tests for each client. All clients have the right to refuse any or all parts of the fitness assessment, and the client has the right to prematurely conclude a test for any reason they deem necessary.
