An official transcript is the reproduction of a complete, unabridged permanent academic record validated with the university seal, facsimile signature of the registrar, and date of issue. A key to the transcript is included, which contains a full statement of pertinent definitions.
Transcripts are not released when there is indebtedness to the university.
Transcript requests forms must have a student signature and cannot be requested via e-mail.
Students who attended Southern Miss PRIOR TO FALL 2001 have their student records on the University imaging system. Transcripts must be mailed, faxed, or picked up in person. Transcripts that are in the imaging system can not be sent via email and in some cases fax due to legibility.
Students who are currently enrolled or have attended Southern Miss SINCE FALL 2001 have their student records on the current Southern Online Accessible Records (S.O.A.R.) system. Transcripts on SOAR can be processed via mail, fax, email, or in person (some limitations may apply).
