MD Sarder, Ph.D.

Associate Professor, School of Construction

Dr. MD Sarder is an Associate Professor of Logistics & Supply Chain and is an Assistant Director of the Center for Logistics, Trade and Transportation. He has extensive research experience in various areas of industrial engineering predominantly in reshoring, logistics transportation and supply chain management. Some of his recent projects include designing reverse logistics operations for electronics industry, transportation modeling, efficient freight movement, facilities design and continuous improvement, and lean process improvement. He conducted several funded projects including feasibility study on logistical impact due to port disruptions, warehouse & economic impact analysis of intermodal facility, and routing model. He authored a book, several book chapters, and over 60 scholarly interdisciplinary articles.
