The Department of Residence Life has an exciting new residential project underway that is set to open in the fall of 2010 in conjunction with the University’s centennial celebration. "Century Park," will be an 864-bed, living-learning residential community.
The project is a continuation of the University's housing master plan, with the goal of being a Silver LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certified residential complex, believed to be the first in the state.
The $37.7 million development, the largest in the history of the University, will consist of four, four-story buildings in a gated community. The resident rooms will be double occupancy with a private bath. In addition, each resident in the facility will be able to connect to the internet at speeds of up to one GB.
