Overview - School Counseling

This program emphasis is designed to meet the professional preparation needs of teachers who expect to work as school guidance counselors.  One year of full-time teaching experience in any of U.S. grades K-12 and a Class A Standard teaching license or certificate (or equivalent for out-of-state teachers) are prerequisites for admission.  Whether seeking a degree or certification only, all candidates must meet admission requirements and be admitted.
