2011-2012 Staff Council
The council is composed of elected representatives from the permanent full-time staff of the university. Representatives serve staggered three-year terms and are elected from mutually exclusive apportionment categories. These apportionment categories include the six Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) categories, plus USM Gulf Coast, Gulf Coast Research Laboratory, J.L. Scott Marine Education Center and Aquarium/Cedar Point, and Stennis Space Center.
