Important Notice to Students If you are a student, and are concerned about your Directory Information being published on the internet, we have prepared a document detailing how to have your information removed. The University of Southern Mississippi has designated the following items as Directory Information, subject to public disclosure in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974: ·                 Student's Name ·                 Address ·                 Telephone Number ·                 E-mail Address ·                 Major ·                 Dates of Attendance ·                 Classification ·                 Degree(s) Earned ·                 Previous Institutions Attended ·                 Class Rank Changing Your University Directory Information The campus directory data is updated periodically with information from Human Resources and with information from current student records. If you are an employee of The University of Southern Mississippi and a piece of your campus directory data is incorrect, please contact Southern Miss' Human Resources department and ask that your record be updated. If you are a current student and a piece of your campus directory data is incorrect, please go by the Registrar's office in Kennard Washington Hall Room 110 on the Hattiesburg Campus and request that the information on your student record be changed. If you are a Southern Miss employee or current student and cannot find your entry in the campus directory, please contact Human Resources or the Registrar’s office.
