Students who have questions or concerns about course policies or grades, clinical procedures, or other aspects of the academic or clinical program should attempt to resolve the issues with their instructor or clinical supervisor. Periodic clinical meetings are also an appropriate avenue for addressing concerns.
In the event that a disagreement remains between a student and faculty member, the student may contact his/her adviser or the department chair. In the event concerns cannot be resolved at the departmental level, the student is advised to contact the Associate Dean of the College of Health. Students should also be aware that unresolved concerns at the university level regarding programmatic issues may be brought to the attention of A S H A’s Council on Academic Accreditation at the following address:
