How long will it take me to complete my graduate degree?
Audiology
Students who are accepted on regular admission status can complete our A u . D . program in eleven semesters [nine on-campus semesters plus two externship semesters].
Full-time students enroll in 12 hours of course work for each of their first 8 semesters, then 9 hours for each of their remaining 3 semesters.
Early Oral Intervention
The program is an intense one year [three semester] curriculum that combines on-campus academics with field experiences in Hattiesburg and surrounding areas.
Full-time students enroll in 16 hours of coursework during the fall and spring semesters and 10 hours during the summer.
Speech-language Pathology
Students who are accepted on regular admission status can complete our master's program in five semesters [four on-campus semesters plus a one-semester externship].
Full-time students enroll in 13 hours of course work during the fall and spring semesters and 10 hours during the summer.
Note: The Graduate School requires that students be enrolled in school during the semester in which they graduate.
