Berry is 2007 Teacher of the Year
May, 2007- Virginia Berry was chosen by members of our local S S H A chapter as recipient of the group's Teacher of the Year Award for 2007.
S S H A members met last week to make their selection, and they kept their choice a closely guarded secret. We only learned of the final decision moments before the actual presentation when S S H A officers Kelly Lewis and Brooke Davis "cornered" Ms. Berry in a classroom where she was meeting with students. Yes, Ms. Berry was surprised.

Kelly acknowledged Ms. Berry's tireless committment and support of our students during the presentation. We commend SSHA on their choice, and we all join together in congratulating Ms. Berry on this well-deserved recognition.
