Tyson and George are Outstanding '08 Seniors
March 25, 2008- Peggy Revels Elward taught in the department of Speech and Hearing Sciences many years ago. In Ms. Elward's memory, the Revels family has provided an annual award to an outstanding undergraduate student in our department.
We are delighted to announce that two SHS students, Amber Tyson and Ashley George, are recipients of this year's award. The selection process is based on a variety of factors that include academic performance and involvement in the department.

Amber is from Decatur, Mississippi; her parents are Randy and Wynell Estes. Ashley's parents, Jeff and Theresa George, reside in DeKalb, Mississippi. All of us in the department join together in congratulating these students. We know their respective families are every bit as proud of them as we are.
