Early Oral Intervention Students Attend Orientation
9/21/09- Early Oral Intervention [ E O I ] students in our Fall, 2009 class completed an orientation last week with Southern Miss faculty and members of the Magnolia Speech School in Jackson. Our new graduate students were given a chance to tour the Magnolia facility and meet both staff members and children who attend daily classes.
Magnolia staff members provide our students with valuable experiences that range from classroom instruction to parental counseling and support. Magnolia Director Ann Sullivan has worked closely with Dr's. Henry Teller and Christina Perigoe in developing and implementing Southern's Early Oral Intervention curriculum. Jane Luter currently serves as a Southern Miss faculty member at Magnolia.
