Ward Represents Southern Miss N A F D A

May 5, 2008- Au.D. student Kimberly Ward represented the University of Southern Mississippi at the National Association of Future Doctors of Audiology [ N A F D A ] Convention on April 1st and 2nd in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Student representatives from local chapters came together to meet one another at the national convention and share ideas for improving local chapters as well as the national organization. Guest speakers at this year's gathering included Dr. Michael Valente, Dr. Ann Marie Tharpe, and Dr. Rita Chaiken who shared information on numerous topics such as pediatric testing, balance disorders, industrial audiology, and tinnitus management.

Kim informed us that she was chosen as the N A F D A Minute Editor [a monthly newsletter] as well as the N A F D A White Paper Editor. Congratulations on the appointments, Kim; the North Carolina convention goers knew a hard worker when they saw one. :)
