M S H A Recognizes Eavenson

March 2007- The Mississippi Speech-Language-Hearing Association held it's annual convention in Jackson last week.

Once again, Suzie Etheridge-Rosser's planning and organizational skills paid off- everyone we spoke with said there were some top speakers both in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. The overall convention apparently came off with any major glitches.

The Jackson meeting was especially meaningful to our own Allison Eavenson, a Speech-Language Pathology major who is currently completing her final semester of off-campus practicum. Allison won one of several outstanding student awards. We are delighted that the state organization makes a special effort to recognize top students from U S M and other university programs throughout the state.

Congratulations, Allison! Continue the good work.
