N A F D A to hold Garage Sale

April 5, 2007- Virginia Berry, faculty adviser to the newly formed N A F D A chapter at U S M, announced the organization's first fundraiser. Student members will hold a garage sale at 110 Wellington Circle on Saturday, April 14th from 8 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Anyone interested in either donating to the garage sale or purchasing some great bargains can contact Ms. Berry at 601-266-5745; request a map if needed.
Our followup photographs show that lots of folks were involved in putting this event together. We actually saw a few die hard bargain hunters show up the Friday night before the sale officially began.
The Friday night shoppers may have had the right idea, because, unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate for the Saturday activities- heavy rains, flash flood, and tornado warnings. Normal spring weather, right? Ms. Berry indicated that she and the students will probably try it again soon, perhaps this summer.
