Dr. Perigoe begins unpacking.
Boxes, Boxes, Boxes !!!
July, 2008- Dr. Christina Perigoe, our newest colleague in S H S, arrived in Hattiesburg earlier this week after a grueling drive from her home in Canada. Faculty helped Dr. Perigoe's husband, Dr. Ross Perigoe, and their son, Clarke, unload their U-Haul truck Wednesday morning.
About the time we thought we were finished, we learned there was an additional wall of boxes in the truck that needed unloading at the school. Phase II of the move began later that afternoon at the SRS Building, and, oh my gosh, there were boxes. We stopped counting after 100.
We couldn't resist having some fun with Dr. Perigoe as we snapped a photo of her transferring the contents of those boxes to her bookshelves and filing cabinets. Welcome, Christina, and thanks for being a good sport about the photo.
