A Shower for Laura
June 17, 2008- Friends, family, and colleagues joined together over the weekend to throw a baby shower for our favorite clinic secretary, Laura Beach. Lots of food, conversation, and fun at Ms. Berry's home.
Laura is expecting a little boy. A first time mommie, descriptions of the shower gifts lead us to believe that Laura is well on her way to acquiring all the gear that she needs to take care of her new "youngun."
Laura ( center in the brown dress ) is showered by family, friends, and colleagues.
We're all excited over Laura's news, and we wish her the very best. We're pretty sure that she'll let us share a photo of the new man in her life after his arrival. :)
Addendum: August 12, 2008
We received the following e-mail and photo from Laura earlier today [ August 20th ]:
Hi everyone! Here's a picture of my son Gauge Allen Cumings. He was born August 12th and weighed in at 10lbs. 8oz. and was 21 and a half inches long! I will bring him by in a couple of weeks. Momma and baby are doing great!!
