'A Show of Hands'- Spring '08 Concert

April 9, 2008- A SHOW OF HANDS sign language performance group from U S M invites you to its Spring Concert:


SOUNDS OF THE '60s (1960 - 1964)

Friday, April 18 at 7:00 pm
Saturday, April 19 at 2:00 pm
(followed by a Sign Language Social at the Baptist Student Union on campus)
Sunday, April 20 at 2:00 pm

All performances will be in Stout Hall near the front entrance of the U S M campus on Hardy Street.

Ticket prices: $5.00 for adults; $3.00 for children 17 and under.

Children (any age) can learn the signs for "My Girl" and then come on stage and perform for the audience.

We plan to have a "game show" to see what hearing people (from our audience) know about deafness and sign language!

The Sign Language Social is for any signers. Please join us and invite other signers: deaf students and their families, deaf adults, deaf education teachers, interpreters, sign language students, etc. The members of 'A Show of Hands' will provide hot food and finger foods. Please bring snack foods (party foods), drinks, or paper and plastic products (plates, napkins, forks/spoons/knives).
