'A Show of Hands' Fall Activities

11/5/08- Here is an opportunity for everyone to enjoy an event that involves the arts, linguistics, diversity, and understanding people with disabilities. What can encompass all of these things? A concert in American Sign Language!

Members of 'A Show of Hands' and Dr. Buisson [ right ]

This year, 'A Show of Hands' sign language performing troupe will be offering a Fall Concert as well as our ever-popular Christmas Concert. We'll be performing in Marsh Hall (across from Subway) on Friday, Nov. 7 at 7:00 and Saturday, Nov. 8 at 2:00. So, bring the kids and the cameras! We'll be teaching the children the chorus of a song from the '70s and getting them onto the stage!

We'll have an audience participation song [for the 'brave' (or unsuspecting) guys]....so bring your cameras for this, too!

And we'll have an audience participation Game Show with prizes!

Tickets are available through TicketMaster and at the door. Adults: $5.00 and Under 18: $3.00.

Adult audience members who participate in a survey will have the chance at winning a drawing for a $25 Wal-Mart gift card.

Come enjoy old oldies and newer oldies, such as:
