Students pay their dues.

It's unanimous- S S H A members love pizza!
September, 2007- Student Speech and Hearing Association officers called a meeting on Thursday (the 27th) in order to begin preparations for the 2007-2008 school year.
It really didn't take a great deal of arm-twisting to get students to turn out- Virginia Berry, faculty adviser to the group, has long known that members are always hungry and pizza always does the trick.
Continually on the lookout for original ideas, Ms. Berry asked members to put their creative heads together to come up a look for this year's t-shirts: "We have artists in the group, but we need ideas to work with."
Ms. Berry also has extra shirts from previous years; any interested person can contact her. They're incredibly affordable: $5.00 each.
By way of this article, we remind our readers that both undergraduate and graduate students in speech-language pathology, education of the deaf, and audiology are encouraged to join. Membership is $50.00, and dues cover registration for the Mississippi Speech-Language-Hearing Association Convention held in Jackson each Spring. Besides having fun, S S H A is a great way to meet other students in the department.
Contact officers Lauren Hughes, Margaret Krebs, or Jessica Conner [shown below] for additional information. Let's make 2007 the largest membership on record!
