Vukovich Addresses Faculty and Students
November 7, 2008- Kevin Vukovich, Southern Regional Manager for Advanced Bionics, addressed students and faculty on Friday. Kevin shared a wealth of information with the audience on cochlear implant services and products that are available through Advanced Bionics. Graduate students in our early oral-aural intervention program as well as those in speech-language pathology and audiology were provided with a long list of valuable internet resources as well as some great material for use in providing direct services to children and their families.

The workshop was special to us, because Kevin completed our Audiology graduate program during the 1990's. Kevin joins a list of former graduate students [Lisa Satterfield and James Davis] who visited the campus this year and shared their knowledge and experiences with our students.
Kevin resides here in Hattiesburg, so we're hoping that we can impose on him again in the future to serve as a guest speaker. We thoroughly enjoyed the presentation, Kevin.
