Library and Information Science Student Association The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) Library and Information Science Student Association (LISSA) strives to support and contribute to the professional development and education of library and information science students, both graduate and undergraduate, at the USM School of Library and Information Science (SLIS). LISSA works to provide SLIS students with an active channel of communication and representation with the administration and faculty, and encourages professional contacts within the field of librarianship.
