Michelle Brazeal joined the faculty of the School of Social Work at the University of Southern Mississippi in August 2011 and currently serves as a visiting instructor.
In May of 2013 she assumed additional responsibiities as the Interim Director of the Mississippi Integrated Health & Disaster Program.
Ms. Brazeal received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of South Alabama and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Alabama.
She is primarily interested in evidence based practices that meet the needs of transitional age adolescents.
Licensed in the State of Alabama as an LCSW, her previous clinical experience includes working with children in state custody who have an emotional disturbance and/or a severe mental illness.
She is an avid reader who prefers spending her free time on the river.
