Dr. Urban earned a B.S. in Child Development & Family Relations fromFloridaStateUniversity, an MSW fromFloridaStateUniversity, and Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University.
She currently teaches at University of Southern Mississippi as an adjunct instructor. She is a U.S. Air Force veteran and a military spouse.
Her area of specialty is trauma work and working with the military population.
Dr. Urban is a power lifter and enjoys physical exercise, spending time with her husband and son, and is involved in the MS/LA retired racing greyhound program.
