
The Master of Science in Interscholastic Athletic Administration program is targeted to individuals pursuing the position of high school athletic director. After completing the program, graduates will be eligible for:
Applicants for the program must have a current teaching license, have a minimum of two years successful teaching/coaching experience, and submit a professional portfolio.
There is no accreditation body for Interscholastic Athletic Administration programs. However, the program at Southern Miss is recognized by the National High School Activities Association and is one of only four colleges in the nation to offer this degree.
