The ITD program is designed for those individuals who are interested in pursuing careers and/or professional development in instructional design and development, application and administration of technology, cognitive theory, and research. Instructional technology and design professionals are needed in numerous settings including education and training, business and industry, health and human services, military, and government.
The ITD program provides students the flexibility to pursue individual interests. The program allows students to elect one of two emphasis areas – instructional technology or instructional design – to better accommodate their needs. The program provides convenience and easy access because more than half of the courses are offered online, and numerous other courses are offered through a hybrid format.
