
This unique program is designed particularly for the needs of elementary, middle, high school, and community college teachers who are in search of a practical graduate study program. The focus of the MATL is on developing and enhancing the knowledge and skills in language, language acquisition, and language instruction that are essential for both effective teaching and successful learning.
For this program course work is accessed fully online or in a hybrid format. Students may also select the site of study for each term, engaging thus an even more rounded and culturally diversified and enriching experience. Sites of study include Mississippi, Puebla, Mexico, and Spain (under consideration).
