Sport Venue Safety and Security Training

For Ushers, Ticket Takers & Gate Security

The National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) has developed new training courses to enhance safety and security efforts by building security staff awareness, improving sport security standards, and enhancing the capabilities of planning, emergency response, and evacuations.

The program's content is grounded in cutting-edge sport security research and the practical experiences and knowledge of subject matter experts in sports security. The program also satisfies the center's goal of closing a security gap by providing educational training programs related to sport event security.

The Sport Venue Safety and Security Staff Training program is designed to be basic and flexible in its use. It can serve as a:

1. Primary training program
2. Supplemental training program which serves as a compliment to existing training
3. Screening device for potential venue staff

The program's flexibility is also demonstrated by its method of delivery. All courses are web-based online courses. This means training can be accomplished by anyone, anywhere, and anytime.

The Sport Venue Safety and Security Staff Training program is an important educational and training resource for sport organizations everywhere.

There is a one year license fee to receive access to the web-based online courses. Each license allows you access to all four modules: usher, ticket taker, gate security, or parking attendant. Upon the completion of a course, the individual will receive a Certificate of Completion.

1. Program A - 1 - 100 Trainees = $495
2. Program B - 101 - 200 Trainees = $995
3. Program C - 201 - 300 Trainees = $1495
4. Program D - 301 - 400 Trainees = $1995
5. Program E - 401 - Up = $2500
