President Martha Saunders has charged a council to lead a strategic enrollment planning effort as an integral building block to our overall strategic planning effort. It is students that we teach and serve and enrollment management is fundamental to who we are and who we want to be, strategically.
Our enrollment planning effort is an information-based and ongoing process that identifies, evaluates and modifies strategies and enrollment goals. It is far more reaching than admissions recruiting. Our enrollment shapes academic life and is directly connected to revenues. A successful Strategic Enrollment Management Plan is one that efficiently and effectively leads Southern Miss to an optimal alignment of our mission, enrollment; fiscal health and our changing environment.
Your participation and input into this process is welcomed and encouraged. We invited you to contact members of the Council with questions and suggestions about this important initiative in enrollment planning.
