April Estill, LMSW
April is a licensed master's social work counselor at Student Counseling Services. April has an undergraduate degree from Southern Miss. in Criminal Justice in 1995 and returned to her original home of Columbia Missouri. While residing in Missouri, April worked with the juvenile justice system for 7 years with status and felony male and female adjudicated offenders. April has worked with abused, neglected, and runaway children, the military population, chronically ill, seriously mentally ill and university population as a social worker and counselor and currently enjoys working with students on issues of adjustment to college life, substance abuse, emotional regulation, eating disorders and providing education and outreach to the university community. April facilitates a single parent support group in Pinehaven geared towards providing education and support to single parents attending school.
