Connie has been employed with the University of Southern Mississippi since October of 2006. She received her B.S. degree from Southern Miss in 1996 in English with an emphasis in Education. She began work in a temporary capacity, by stepping into the job of an absent staff member during one of the busiest periods of the year at Southern Miss’ Student Counseling Services. She has always approached learning as a lifelong task and useful information as something to be shared when welcomed. Service is a high priority which is why she makes time for church endeavors, and community involvement, such as becoming a Walking Coach and a certified Community Health Advisor, for Hub City Steps and the City of Hattiesburg. Her enthusiasm for serving others, family and good self-care are high priorities.
